Review by hotel critic
During our delightful New Year getaway at Villa Marianna, my family and I felt truly enveloped in the serenity of Sardinia. The villa itself is a beautifully renovated gem, with picturesque gardens that perfectly frame the pristine pool, creating a tranquil escape from the hustle of everyday life. Each morning, we savoured a superb breakfast by the pool, an indulgent start that complemented our idyllic surroundings. Our room boasted modern amenities, including a flat-screen TV and air conditioning, but the highlight was undoubtedly the private terrace with mesmerizing sea views, perfect for sipping coffee while soaking in the coastal ambience. The warm hospitality of our hosts, Monica and Graziella, made our stay even more special, ensuring that every detail was attended to, from secure parking to thoughtful beach-friendly provisions. As a literary enthusiast, I wasn't just drawn to the local attractions such as the historic St Francis Church; I was reminded of the many stories that unfold in settings rich with history. Villa Marianna is not just a destination; it's a charming narrative unfolding amidst the beautiful Sardinian landscape-an experience I highly recommend to those seeking both comfort and a touch of cultural charm.
